The Honduras students have joined ICSA

An official meeting of the management of the ICSA with the representatives and students from UNITEC University (Honduras) took place on May 1 7 in the ITMO University. Students from Honduras arrived to Russia to join the i-Customs Project in the framework of rhe ICSA.

During the week in Russia students from Hounduas saw the best places in Saint Petersburg and learned a lot about the history of Russian Federation.
At the meeting with the Chairman of the ICSA Andrei Nikolaev the guests told about their interest in participating in the i-Customs Conference next year. The management of the ICSA supported this initiative and offered to set up the Honduras ICSA National Working group. At the ICSA Meeting after the second day of the i-Customs Conference students form the UNITEC University announced the members of the Honduras National working group with the Chairman of the Working group - Hector David Aguilar the and Leonardo Bonilla as a vice-chairman.

We presupposes productive work in the sphere of customs research and education. Some actual issues on training customs officers and customs brokers were raised. ICSA is growing and developing due to the
students’ desire for cooperation together. Together we will be able to carry out global research and take part in trade facilitation processes which take place not only within one country, but also around the world.
