MGIMO has been granted the status of a regional working group of the International Customs Student Association (ICSA)

In connection with the demonstrated high level of preparation of the University delegation, speaking on June 6-7 at the VI International Youth Conference "I-Customs", MGIMO was given the status of a regional working group of the International Customs Student Association, functioning under the auspices of the World Customs Organization Headquarters based on the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics.

Association activities are carried out within the framework of the implementation of international professional standards PICARD (Partnership in Customs Academic Research and Development) of the World Customs Organization.

The activities of the Association are closely related to the work of  more than 20 universities that bring together leading world experts in the field of trade facilitation, trade and customs formalities, information and communication technologies for cross-border paperless trade.
